Who we are

We are a small group of enthusiastic individuals, all with a passion for steam, history and engineering.

We are attempting to build a replica steam driven workshop as would have been common place during the later quarter of the 1800’s into the early 1900’s. Long term this will see us constructing a replica building within which the collection will be held along with a small reference library and also an archive room.

The project is the brain child of Lewis Lockey, who began to lay the basis of the idea down in 2022, and during 2023 began to research all the variables regarding such a project and in 2024 the first Steam engine and boiler were purchased which are currently being restored.
