Greens Economiser

So far, the Greens stationary engine has been stripped, checked for wear, and reassembled with new pins and bolts where applicable, and after much deliberation we have decided to go for a completely new paint job which will see the engine looking almost as good as new! We have gone for as close a shade of green as possible to what we believe to be the original colour, which we managed to find a good sample off under all the grime and dirt.

In the two images you can see how the brass and some of the steel items have now been cleaned up and refitted. Shiny brass definitely makes a difference!
